GST.CA stands for Greg, Shelli, Talson, Caleb and Annelise Neufeld.  We serve in Hermosillo, Mexico with the Evangelical Free Church of Canada Mission in partnership with the Evangelical Free Church of Mexico.  We are followers of Jesus Christ and our desire is to see others follow Him and experience the peace we have.

Praise!

We praise the Lord for:
- The progress on the ministry centre! The upper floor on the first building is complete (with the exception of a couple air conditioner) thanks to the generosity of those that have given and those that have come to make it reality.  God has blessed us richly with people (investors with an eternal perspective) who believe in what God is doing and wants to do in the future.  Thank you Lord!
- New believers over the past months!
- The arrival of Lane and Sheri Elliot to serve full-time here in Hermosillo (you can check-out their blog here... www.laneelliott.blogspot.com

Prayer

Please pray for Arbol de Vida.
With growth comes exciting challenges and new needy marriages, families and people in general.  Jesus came for the needy and so it is also our heart.  Please pray for us as a church as we grow in providing for the spiritual, emotional and physical needs of the people that God sends to us.

Please pray for our Home Assignment in Canada.
Lord-willing we will be ministering in Canada from September to December, visiting family and friends, sharing in churches and small groups and taking care of business that has to be done in person in Canada.  Please pray that the Lord will be glorified in our lives and that He will transmit His passion for reaching the nations through us to His people.

1. Breaking Out Of Beginner's Spanish by Joseph J. Keenan

- Best book hands-down for doing as the title says.  You can skip the chapter on colorful language if you don't want to understand the things you are called by unhappy people. :)

2. Diccionario De Jergas De Habla Hispana by Roxana Fitch
ISBN: 1419632205
- Great book for learning the distinct sayings, slang and modismos from all Latin American countries.

3. Spanish Verb Manual by Alfred Gonzalez Hermoso
ISBN: 0844213462
- How to conjugate and use 5000 verbs!  Yikes! (Don't bother with the classic "501 Spanish Verbs" book - it doesn't even compare to this one.)

4. Listen to, learn and sing to worship songs in Spanish.  A lot of popular songs in English have been translated into Spanish!
